Regular Town Board Meeting of September 16, 2008 Chairman Jeff Long called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. Also present were Supervisor’s Charlie Spencer and David Schuenemann, Clerk/Treasurer Lois Smith and guests: Steve Duba, Russ Cluey, Ken Ehle, Wally Krueger, Pat Mabie Craig Richardson, Jim Hanson, Cathy Schneider and Arlene Bociznik MOTION/SCHUENEMANN: SECOND/SPENCER: To approve the agenda as posted. MOTION CARRIED. Treasurer’s Report was reviewed by board members. MOTION/SCHUENEMANN: SECOND/SPENCER: To approve the treasurer’s report as presented. MOTION CARRIED. The minutes of August 19, 2008 were reviewed by the board. MOTION/SCHUENEMANN: SECOND/LONG: To approve the minutes as presented. MOTION CARRIED. There were no bids for the pontoon boat. The bid process will remain open. Chairman Long to check with local marina business to find out weight and what would entail to have it junked for metal. Operator license applications were reviewed. MOTION/SCHUENEMANN: SECOND/LONG: To approve the license applications for: Bradley A. Berg, James S. Dahlstrom, Brenda S. Schmitz and Gerald Wagner. MOTION CARRIED. The snow plowings fees were again presented for final approval. MOTION/SPENCER: SECOND/SCHUENEMANN: To approve the snow plowing rates for 2008-09 winter season as outlined in the August 19, 2008 minutes. MOTION CARRIED. Library Board Members Irene Gravelle and Matt Loew were presented for re-appointment. MOTION/SCHUENEMANN: SECOND/SPENCER: To approve Irene Gravelle and Matt Lowe for another library board term. MOTION CARRIED. The private road name request will not be presented tonight. More approval is needed of their board or family members. It will be presented in October or a later date. The survey of the town property has been completed. MOTION/LONG: SECOND/SCHUENEMANN: To approve payment of the fee of $3150.00 MOTION CARRIED. The Wisconsin Taxpayers Alliance 2008 renewal of contribution letter was read. MOTION/LONG: SECOND/SCHUENEMANN: To approve the 2008 amount of 235.00 for Wisconsin Taxpayers Alliance Contribution. MOTION CARRIED. CORRESPONDENCE: Letter from The Horton Group advising us of the 2008 WI State Match Contribution is $300.91. Bills payable were approved by board signatures in the amount of $43,940.64. MOTION/SPENCER: SECOND/SCHUENEMANN: To adjourn the meeting at 7:45 p.m. MOTION CARRIED. Respectfully submitted, Lois J.
